The updated application
The updated proposals are seeking to provide a more comprehensive enhancement of the existing building through a further additional rooftop storey, providing 104 high-quality homes in total in addition to retained ground floor commercial space fronting Hogarth Roundabout. The proposals remain unchanged as far as retaining the existing building, and now also include a limited widening to the existing building across all three primary elevations, along with a new high-quality designed façade, positively transforming the dated and defensive appearance of the existing building.
In short, Signia’s new proposals will reimagine the building on site, updating it with an entirely new façade to give it a refreshed, modern image, and will repurpose it from office space to residential, helping to provide homes for Chiswick.
